Heartline Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time imaging opportunity in Rutherfordton, NC. The role performs CT imaging procedures, educates patients, and ensures high-quality scans while upholding safety standards.

This onsite position requires an Associate's Degree, ARRT and BLS certification, CT certification (or ability to obtain within one year), and availability to work Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• CT certification or ability to obtain CT certification within one year is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to work Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM is required.
• Onsite in Rutherfordton, NC is required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging procedures.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to promote understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes.
• Prepare imaging equipment and supplies.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality-control checks.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues.
• Take corrective action when necessary, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.

Education

Associate's Degree

ARRT certification
