Day Kimball Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join their CT Scan Department in Putnam, CT. This part-time role involves performing CT scans under the direction of a radiologist and assisting in various procedures. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year practical experience as a CT technologist including IV insertion is preferred.
• Maintaining appropriate CEUs to meet ARRT guidelines is required.
• Approved contrast injection training according to medical director is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT exams and assist in interventional CT exams.
• Explain the procedure to the patient clearly.
• Set, adjust, maintain, and control complex electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation.

Skills

Computer skills: Mainframe system entry, Teleradiology system

Technical aptitude with knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Education

Completed two years of an approved Radiological Technology Program

Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists

Current license in the State of Connecticut

CT Registered and active State of Connecticut CT License

CPR - Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification
