Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a CT Technologist to provide computed tomography imaging in alignment with practice standards and organization values. The role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a busy imaging department.

The candidate will handle on-call duties, prepare equipment, administer contrast within scope, and monitor patient status throughout exams, while educating patients about procedures and contributing to quality control efforts.

Qualifications

• Accredited radiology program completion is required.
• ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• CT imaging registration/credential within the state or by ARRRT within 1 year is expected.

Responsibilities

• Takes on-call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures with proper exposure factors.
• Analyze images, ensure quality, and repeat if needed to meet standards.
• Prepare equipment, supplies, and administer contrast media or meds within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures.
• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients about procedures.
