Job summary

Day Kimball Health is hiring a Mammographer for the Diagnostic Imaging Department in Putnam, CT. This Per Diem opportunity involves performing professional duties under the direction of the radiologist, including mammography studies and maintaining production quality.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year approved Radiological Technology Program required.
• Current license in the State of Connecticut required.
• Registered, or registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists required.
• Minimum of 1-year practical experience performing related duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mammography by positioning breasts and adjusting equipment.
• Maintains quality of mammograms and retakes as necessary.
• Performs all aspects of Mammography including breast biopsies.
• Explains procedures and instructs patients in positioning.
