Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans and produce high-quality cross-sectional images for physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures, positioning, monitoring data, quality assurance, and staying within department standards; requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and current MRT license with ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification, plus relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Texas MRT license or temporary license.
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification, or NMTCB/ARRT combo.
• Experience in CT imaging and patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans on patients, prepares and positions for imaging, and explains procedures.
• Administers contrast when necessary and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data and performs CT QA activities.
• May assist with accreditation applications and maintain safety standards.
• May require weekends or float to other locations as needed.
