Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare and position patients, and ensure diagnostic-quality imaging. The role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and collaboration within the radiology team.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, a Texas MRT license, and Basic or Advanced Life Support. CT experience is preferred, with ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Texas MRT license (temporary or permanent) is required; ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification preferred or eligible.
• Basic or Advanced Life Support certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience or 2 years Radiologic Technologist with CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, prepare patients, explain procedures, and administer contrast when necessary.
• Position patients and select imaging techniques to ensure diagnostic-quality scans.
• Enter and monitor patient data and maintain CT equipment quality assurance.
• Assist with accreditation processes and report equipment malfunctions and incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and may require weekends or float to other locations as needed.
