Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations under radiologist direction. You will collect patient data, verify orders, prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, and ensure proper imaging parameters for accurate diagnoses.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT certification with JRCERT-accredited training, demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills, and have a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by ARRT is required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, independent thinking and sound judgment are essential.
• Excellent communication of complex topics to diverse audiences is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations as directed by the radiologist.
• Ensure patient safety, consent, and appropriate screening before scanning.
• Maintain QC on CT equipment and document procedures and results in patient records.
