The role includes patient interaction, image verification, and preparation of studies for radiologist interpretation. The position requires a Technical School Diploma or radiography program graduate, with 0–1 year of experience and PA-appropriate BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent radiography education.
• CNMT, RT(CT) certification preferred.
• Less than 1 year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support in Pennsylvania within 30 days.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - Pennsylvania Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans and imaging procedures in line with physician specifications.
• Operates scanners, injectors, and monitors safely and properly.
• Reviews images, repeats as needed for best result, and prepares exams for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates with patients, explains the exam, and maintains confidentiality of PHI/HIPAA.
• Prepares patient images for PACS and notifies physician of any adverse reactions.
