Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT to join our dedicated imaging team at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hellertown. You will perform diagnostic CT and radiologic imaging under physician direction, delivering high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and privacy.

The role requires strong patient communication, adherence to HIPAA, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to support emergency and routine imaging in a busy hospital

Qualifications

Technical School Diploma graduate of accredited Radiography program with 1 year radiologic technologist experience.
1 year CT technologist experience and ability to perform imaging procedures.
Knowledge of safety standards and HIPAA/privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

Performs imaging procedures and operates CT equipment safely.
Reviews images and ensures radiation protection standards.
Communicates with patients by name and explains exams clearly.
Documents exam details and ensures correct PACS delivery.
Coordinates with the team and assists with training of new staff.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
