Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a CT Technologist for Geisinger Medical Center Muncy to perform computed tomography procedures and ensure patient identification and safety. The role involves adherence to ALARA principles and collaboration with licensed practitioners in interventional CT contexts.

Requirements include ARRT or NMTCB certification, 2 years of radiology experience, and a radiologic technology education background; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or NMTCB/CT certification required.
• CNMT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology-related work experience.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology program; bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer CT imaging exams and ensure patient safety and identification.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and optimize imaging protocols.
• Assist licensed practitioners during interventional CT procedures.
• Prepare and document medications and radiation exposure per policy.
• Educate students and monitor other health care professionals.
