Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, Kentucky is seeking a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to join our radiology team. You will perform CT imaging, prepare contrast media, monitor patient status, and ensure image quality and patient safety throughout procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related fields, ARRT CT registry within 1 year, and BLS-HCP certification. An Associate’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR or Nuclear Medicine is required.
• 1 year experience in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine or CT procedures preferred.
• ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• BLS-HCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality; adjust as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.

Education

ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related field

Associate's degree preferred

1 year experience in Radiologic technology/CT procedures preferred
