Job summary

Jackson Purchase Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to provide CT imaging, review orders, educate patients, and safely administer contrast at our Graves County, Mayfield, Kentucky facility. The role requires ARRT Radiology registration, BLS, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree.
• BLS certification required.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in Kentucky; ARRT registration in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT imaging per scope and standards.
• Review patient history and orders.
• Educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Follow safety standards and QC procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging.
• Analyze results and address imaging issues.
• Enter and report scan results.
