Join to apply for the CT Technologist - POOL role at Orlando Health.

Position Summary

We have pool, part-time, and full-time CT openings. A recruiter will call you to discuss your preferred shift and position. Orlando Health Saint Cloud Hospital offers comprehensive medical services and is conveniently located to serve the residents of St. Cloud and Osceola County for over 55 years. The hospital features diagnostic imaging, cardiovascular diagnostics, orthopedics, surgical services, and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with a 24-hour Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

  1. Exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor conducive to quality care.
  2. Delivers appropriate patient care, recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful procedures.
  3. Complies with all relevant state and federal regulations.
  4. Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic goals.
  5. Assesses patient’s physical condition and needs.
  6. Provides instructions for patient cooperation and desired results.
  7. Performs patient identification, acquires clinical history, and documents information accurately.
  8. Positions patient and equipment, manipulates technical factors for high-quality images.
  9. Assesses images for quality, annotation, and proper identification.
  10. Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
  11. Participates in Quality Control standards and tasks.
  12. Proficient in contrast medication administration, including venipuncture and IV access evaluation.
  13. Administers medical aid during adverse reactions or emergencies.
  14. Uses standard precautions and protective equipment.
  15. Supervises and trains student and new technologists.
  16. Utilizes radiology computer systems effectively.
  17. Ensures safety of all patients and staff.
  18. Maintains attendance in accordance with policies and standards.
  19. Ensures compliance with all policies, guidelines, and education requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certification: Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification, or NMTCB certification in CT, plus current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
