Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray/fluoroscopy. You will start IVs, administer IV/oral/rectal contrast under physician direction, and provide exemplary patient service in a team-based setting at Swedish Cherry Hill.

Required qualifications include a formal radiologic technology program, ARRT Radiography, Washington license, and BLS. CT cert within 1 year is preferred. Two years CT experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology program is required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• CT certification required within 1 year from hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans using multi-slice CT and administer contrast.
• Initiate IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast per physician direction.
• Provide exemplary customer service and work within a team-based care model.
• Perform diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy procedures as needed.

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Associationupon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of Hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
  • National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 yearsof experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred
