Providence Swedish seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform multi-slice CT imaging and fluoroscopy with independent judgment at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. You will start IVs and administer contrast as directed, while delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive team environment.

Role emphasizes diagnostic X-ray experience, patient-focused service, and collaboration across the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Licensure as WA Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography registration upon hire.
• Within 1 year: CT Technologist certification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of CT scans and fluoroscopy with independent judgment.
• Operate power injectors and monitoring equipment for contrast administration.
• Initiate IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast per physician.
• Provide exemplary patient service and team collaboration.

Description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of Hire:
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
• National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one‑year in a CT Scan department preferred
