Job summary

Biograph is seeking a CT Technologist for our New York City clinic on a per diem basis. This role offers potential for future full-time work and cross-training in DEXA and MRI.

You will interpret physician orders, explain procedures, position patients, and administer IV contrast as needed, while ensuring safety and high-quality images. Per diem shifts are 4+ hours, Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with strong emphasis on accuracy and privacy.

Qualifications

• Proven CT technologist experience with imaging principles and protocols.
• Active ARRT certification and CT module expertise.
• Familiarity with CT equipment and contrast administration.
• Ability to document and maintain patient records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interpret orders from physicians and other prescribers.
• Explain procedures and contrast media to patients clearly.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans; ensure comfort and safety.
• Administer IV contrast when needed to enhance imaging.
• Review images for quality and usability; document in EMR.
• Maintain CT equipment and clean work areas.
• Adhere to privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
