Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a Radiology CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures under a Radiologist's supervision. You will prepare patients, set technical factors, and ensure adherence to safety protocols, including dose management per ImageGently guidelines.

Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality CT images, CTA imaging, interventional procedures, and operating CT systems with injectors. A specialized CT training program is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiologic physics, pharmacology, and dose reduction techniques.
• Strong technical skills in operating CT systems and patient care.
• Experience with inventory management and safety/quality standards.

Role Overview: Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures to acquire digital images for diagnostic and treatment purposes, under the supervision of a Radiologist. Responsibilities include preparing patients, selecting technical factors, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including dose management based on ImageGently Guidelines.

Key Duties

• Obtains high-quality CT images following established protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients, uses protective shielding, and administers contrast agents and IV access as directed.
• Performs advanced CT procedures such as CTA imaging, interventional procedures, and complex studies like TAVR and endovascular repairs.
• Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment, maintaining proper inventory and equipment quality control.
• Supports interventional procedures, assisting with sterile trays, biopsies, drainages, and ablations.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of clinical histories, pharmacology, physics, and imaging protocols to optimize image quality and patient safety.
• Interfaces with providers for exam authorization, schedules procedures, and manages imaging data, including outside hospital images.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of a specialized training program (required), with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of radiologic physics, pharmacology, and dose reduction techniques is essential. Strong technical skills in operating CT systems, patient care, and inventory management are required, along with attention to safety and quality standards.
