Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a per diem CT Technologist for Nashoba Valley in Groton, MA. The role involves performing CT scans, assisting Radiologists, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and documentation.

The position requires MA licensure, ARRT/NMTCB certification, and accreditation in radiology, with strong patient care and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by ARRT or NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Accurately complete records, paperwork and billings and submit promptly.
• Position and transfer patients and assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Promptly and properly complete exams, perform QC on images and send exams to PACS for review.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide support.
