Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Per Diem/PRN team in Madison, WI. You will operate CT equipment, position patients, administer contrast as directed, and ensure image quality while maintaining safety protocols.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years as a Radiologic Technologist with an active state license, 1+ year as CT Technologist, ARRT or CMRT certification, and BLS. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT or CMRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Continuing Education compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Position the patient and apply proper technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the target anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by the referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on CT equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.
