Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Madison in Madison, WI is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time role. The position offers compensation up to $50 per hour and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus; schedule is full-time.

You will prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, operate the CT scanner, administer contrast as directed, monitor for adverse events, and perform routine QA on equipment. Join a team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.
