Qualifications

• Certified as a computed tomography technologist.
• BLS certification issued by AHA/ARC or Canadian equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operates tomography scanner and imaging equipment with general supervision.
• Explains procedures to patients and positions them to optimize image quality.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and documents protocols.
• Prepares and administers medications within technologist scope as prescribed.
• Performs quality assurance and regular maintenance of imaging equipment.
