Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains tomography scanner and imaging department equipment.
• Prepares patients for procedures by explaining process and positioning for requested images.
• Identifies, prepares and administers medications within technologist scope of practice.
• Performs quality assurance and radiation safety practices to minimize exposure.
• Obtains patient history and addresses concerns to ensure patient needs are met.
