Candidates should have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certs in radiography and CT, Ohio licensure, CPR, and 2 years of imaging experience preferred. The position uses CT equipment and hospital information systems daily.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the ARRT in radiography and CT.
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Maintains CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon order.
• Performs handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operates CT and related equipment.
• Operates facility computer systems.
• Administers contrast media under physician guidance.
• Transports and positions patients safely.
• Assists physicians with CT-related procedures.
• Participates in QA/QC activities related to CT.

Education

Pay Rate: $30.29-$49.88 hourly

Job Description:

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
• Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operates all CT and related equipment.
• Operates all facility-based computer systems.
• Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
• Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
• Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
• Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
