Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and ensure quality control under physician guidance. The role requires ARRT radiography and CT certification, an AMA-approved radiologic technology degree, state licensure, CPR certification, and clinic experience.

Night shift with a generous bonus potential. Compensation includes an hourly pay rate of $30.29–$49.88, with a $20,000 bonus and full-time employment at FMC Main Campus—Lancaster.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
• Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operates all CT and related equipment.
• Operates all facility-based computer systems.
• Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
• Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
• Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
• Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.
