• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by ARRT in radiography and CT.
• Maintains Ohio licensure requirements.
• CPR certification / When Seconds Count.
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations.
• Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operates all CT and related equipment.
• Operates all facility-based computer systems.
• Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/protocol.
• Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
• Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
• Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.

Job Description

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
• Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operates all CT and related equipment.
• Operates all facility-based computer systems.
• Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
• Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
• Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
• Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
