Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a CT Technologist - Outpatient at the Axelrod Pavilion in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on diagnostic CT procedures, imaging patient care, and supporting RIS data management in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates bring Florida radiology licensure, ARRT radiology certification, and 1 year CT or radiology experience, with strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Florida radiology license or permit required.
• ARRT certification in radiology or relevant specialty.
• Technical Diploma or an Associate’s Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures in outpatient setting.
• Handle imaging care, RIS data management, and file room duties.
• Assist physicians and transport patients as needed.
• Maintain clinical skills and patient service excellence.
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking, and clear communication.
• Maintain computer skills relevant to radiology workflows.

Shift Hours: Friday , Saturday, Sunday 3/12 hour shifts
Shift: Shift 1, Days

• The CT Technologist - Outpatient performs diagnostic CT procedures.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
• Have clinical skills appropriate to position.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1 year CT Technologist; OR 1 year Radiology experience
