Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York City seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform CT studies and radiologic examinations per established protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, NY DOH license, ARRT in radiography and CT, BLS, at least 1 year of OR/portable radiology experience, and proficiency with fluoroscopy, PACS and RIS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• NY State DOH License and registration in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• 1 year minimum experience including OR procedures and portables.
• Proficiency in Fluoroscopic / portable radiology / OR procedures.
• Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems.
• Experience in digital & computed radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations on patients referred by physicians per radiologic protocols.
• Competent in routine diagnostic, operating room, and portable radiology.
• Adjust kV and mA to produce quality CT images.
• Conduct daily quality control calibration checks on equipment.
• Follow protocols for radiopharmaceuticals and documentation.
