Job summary

Texas Oncology in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Imaging/Radiation Oncology Department. Under general supervision, you will perform CT scans and ensure high-quality results, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will coordinate and administer CT radiologic exams.
• Maintain technical quality and timely reporting of results.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality.
• Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies.
• Escorts patients to treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary.
• Develops and processes radiologic films; logs procedures completed.
• Provides protection for patient and self according to safety standards.
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients under technologist care.
• Conducts daily quality control and reports malfunctions.
• Arranges preventive maintenance and handles film logs and releases.
