Job summary

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist I for a PRN position in Texas. The role focuses on operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and delivering high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams, perform contrast studies per protocol, and participate in quality control and safety procedures. Prior CT experience and licensure are preferred; on-site work with a patient-centered approach is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of radiologic sciences clinical experience required.
• 2–4 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and positions patients appropriately for CT procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and physician orders; screens for contraindications.
• Administers contrast media as ordered and monitors for adverse reactions.
