Job summary

Texas Oncology, a leading oncology provider in Texas, is seeking a CT Technologist to support the Imaging/Radiation Oncology Department at the Wichita Falls location. The role includes coordinating and performing CT radiologic exams, ensuring quality and timely reporting while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds an ARRT certification, an accredited Radiology degree, and IV/CPR certifications with 3+ years CT experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
• Minimum three years experience as a CT Technologist.
• Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required.
• Current IV and CPR certifications required.
• Certification in CT preferred.
• Minimum five years experience as a CT Technologist (Level 2).
• Minimum seven years experience as a CT Technologist (Level Sr).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures as ordered with high quality.
• Advise physicians on appropriateness of additional/modified studies.
• Escort patients to treatment room and assist with procedures.
• Develops and processes radiologic films; logs procedures.
• Ensure patient and staff safety per standards.
• Maintain equipment safety and documentation.
• Arrange preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors.
• Release films to patients and outside agencies.
