Qualifications

• Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months – ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct orders and patient preparation for exams.

• Evaluate images for quality and storage.

Job Summary: $20,000 Sign on bonus for eligible applicants!

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.
• Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable).
• Prepares and/or administers, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality and verifies archival storage and/or transfer of data, post processing of data if applicable.
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers.
• Assists a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures.
• Performs computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
• Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) OR Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT‑R registry or NMTCB prior to first day of employment.
• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2, including advanced certification, within 24 months of hire.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
