Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a CT radiologic technologist to perform CT imaging, verify orders, and manage patient care with radiologist supervision.

The role requires ARRT certification or NMTCB advanced registry in CT within one year of hire, BLS, and rotating shifts including weekends. Weekend premium pay applies and a $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and ensure accuracy before performing exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and prepare them with clear explanations.
• Review patient history and EMR data to correlate tests with diagnoses.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper equipment operation; report any malfunctions.
• Rotate shifts including nights, weekends, and call-back as required; adhere to attendance policies.
