Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the Night shift in our Radiology Department. This role focuses on producing high-quality CT images and assisting with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements, while coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates are ARRT certified, possess an Ohio radiographer license, and hold a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians and other care team members.
