Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for full-time night shift (7PM-7AM) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the CT department. The role involves performing high-quality CT scans under Radiologist supervision, maintaining radiation safety and patient care across all age groups, and participating in department improvement activities.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology program with Texas licensure and ARRT registration, and is BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology is required.
• Licensure/certification as TX registered radiology professional is required.
• ARRT registration and state licensure required; CT certification preferred.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment per practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Education

Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology

Registered with the State of Texas

Registered with ARRT (Army graduates must take ARRT registry within twelve months)

CT Certification through ARRT preferred

Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
