Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX is hiring a CT Technologist for full-time day shifts (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating CT/X-ray equipment, and assisting radiologists while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements include ARRT-CT certification, state license/ fluoroscopy permit, BCLS, and one year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-CT Certification is required
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure proper positioning on the CT table and explain the procedure with empathy.
• Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images while optimizing image quality and minimizing radiation exposure.
• Monitor patients and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Assist radiologists who interpret images; help administer contrast agents or perform certain procedures.
• Ensure quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines and that they function properly.
• Maintain radiologic supplies and ensure infection control and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain ARRT status.
