Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Night Shift CT Technologist to perform CT procedures efficiently, as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARRT CT certification or eligibility, ARRT(R) advanced CT, and Texas MRT certification, along with BLS certification and a strong grasp of imaging protocols. Night shifts run 7 pm to 7:30 am on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with sign-on incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited radiography program.
• ARRT registration (R) required or eligible to sit for ARRT(R) CT exam.
• Advanced Registry in CT (ARRT) or to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• TDSHS MRT certification or Texas Medical Board certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and complex CT as ordered, following Parkland and regulatory standards.
• Reads protocols, adjusts equipment, and consults radiologist as needed.
• Monitors supplies and expiration dates.
• Participates in Joint Commission Continual Readiness and department meetings.
• Contributes to Performance Improvement programs and department initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
