Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a CT Technologist for full-time night shifts (Thu-Sat 5p-5:30a or 6p-6:30a). The role requires ARRT licensed radiographer, Maryland state license, and an associate degree or radiologic technology certificate.

The CT Technologist will perform routine and specialized CT imaging, ensure dose optimization, document patient care in EHR, adhere to safety standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives; a 15k sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) and CT (ARRT-CT).
• Maryland Radiographer license.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Executes basic and CT imaging procedures with appropriate technical factors.
• Ensures dose reduction principles and patient safety.
• Documents patient care activity in electronic health records.
• Maintains equipment/workspace and assists with supplies.
• Participates in department performance improvement initiatives.
