Job summary

DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the night shift in Detroit, MI. The role supports the Imaging/Radiology department at the Harper University/Hutzel Women’s Hospital facility, conducting diagnostic CT exams and ensuring patient safety and script accuracy.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, obtaining patient history, communicating risks and post-care instructions, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification preferred in Radiology or CT.
• BLS-Healthcare Provider required by end of orientation.
• 1+ year experience as Radiologic Technologist or CT tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Explain procedures, risks, and follow-up to patients.
• Set up equipment and acquire images per script, review images with radiologist.
