Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or CT preferred; BLS required by orientation end.
• 1+ year of Radiologic Technologist experience in Radiology or CT.
• Able to participate in on-call shifts and educate staff.

Responsabilités

• Verifies patient identity and reviews medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Interviews patient to obtain medical history and assess risk factors.
• Explains procedures, risks, and post-care instructions to patients.
• Sets up equipment and acquires radiographic images per script.
• Reviews images, documents deviations, and communicates with radiologists.
• Responds to medical emergencies as needed and participates in on-call duties.
• Provides imaging education to residents, students, and new staff.
