HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for night shifts to provide CT imaging services under radiologist supervision. The role covers a range of protocols from brain to abdomen, with emphasis on patient care and safety in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires ARRT CT certification (preferred), Florida licensure, and BLS. Night shift availability is required, and duties include on-call responsibilities for a busy emergency and imaging department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved institution.
• Active Florida CRT licensure and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1–3 years in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Select proper technical factors for study then perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations.
• Operate CT scanner, pressure injector and related equipment.
• Assist in administration of contrast media and related procedures.
• Prepare, transfer and position patients ensuring modesty and safety.
• Document clinical information prior to exam and obtain informed consent in MEDITECH.
• Obtain high-quality CT images for interpretation.
• Stay proficient with software protocols and pursue in-service training as needed.
• Maintain communication with radiologist and care team.
• Check equipment and keep room clean and stocked to prevent cross-contamination.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
• Support free-standing ER with X-ray & CT functions.
