Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time night shift (7p-7a, Fri/Sat/Sun). You will perform CT exams per physician orders, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment in a busy radiology department.

Requirements include Florida licensure, ARRT CT certification preferred, and 1–3 years in diagnostic radiology. Night availability is required for consideration, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Florida-licensed CT Technologist with a 24-month Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
• Current BLS certification and active Florida licensure (CRT).

Responsibilities

• Select and perform diagnostic CT examinations with proper technical factors.
• Maintain CT equipment and related systems, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in contrast administration and patient positioning with care and privacy.
• Document clinical information accurately and obtain informed consent.
• Stay current with CT software protocols and participate in ongoing education.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and care teams.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
