Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a dedicated CT technologist to perform CAT scan procedures under radiologist supervision. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, acquire scout and cross-sectional images, and assist during biopsy procedures with careful monitoring from the control room.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in CT.
• NYS Licensed/Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Formal radiologic technology training program.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data into Epic and other systems.
• Position patient on scan table for CT.
• Obtain scout image and set protocols for high-quality images.
• Assist radiologist during biopsy procedures.
• Monitor progression from control room and operate injector when needed.
• Photograph and label scan images and maintain records.
• Follow radiation safety rules and train others in CT procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned area.
