The position is full-time, night shift (Fri-Sun, 7p–7:30a). Required: ARRT RT(R), BCLS within 60 days, IV certification within 60 days, and Colorado licensure; a Fluoroscopy license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT(R) Upon Hire.
• BCLS within 60 Days.
• IV Certification within 60 Days.
• Relevant state licensure Upon Hire.
• For Colorado caregivers, Fluoroscopy License Upon Hire.
• Possibly additional facility-specific certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operates CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification and order verification for exams.
• Performs exams per department protocol and documents results.
• Reviews images for quality and relevant anatomy coverage.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, consent, and QC reporting.
• Administers contrast media as ordered and educates patients on safety.
