Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans in the Night Shift, ensuring high-quality images and strict adherence to safety standards. You will prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, and support radiologists during complex exams while maintaining accurate case documentation.

Qualifications include ARRT registration and a JRC-accredited radiologic technology program, with CT certification within one year of employment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with ARRT.
  • KY Radiation Operators certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • CT Certification preferred at time of hire but required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers relevant information, verifies patient identity and order details.
  • Produces CT scans per established protocols and analyzes image quality.
  • Instructs patients with pre- and post-exam education and safety.
  • Venipuncture and contrast injections performed per guidelines and policies.
  • Maintains accurate exam documentation in the computer system.
  • Assists radiologists with complex CT examinations and CT contrast administration.
  • Upkeeps credentials and safety practices, and trains students and staff as needed.
