AdventHealth in Texas seeks a CT Technologist for a StaffFlex contract, working Night shift (Mon-Wed, 7p-7:30a) with a dual role (CT/XR) from 2:30a-6:30a. 13-week contract. Responsibilities include performing CT and radiographic exams per protocols, patient safety, and clerical duties.

Requires Associate's degree, ARRT CT and Radiography, and BLS certification. Facility offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Field of Study: AMA approved school of radiologic technology or JCERT accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT and XR exams using established protocols with proper patient identification and education prior to the exam.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and related medical equipment.
• Positions patients and equipment, selects technical factors, and produces radiographic images meeting radiologist standards.
• Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
• Provides direct patient care within technologist scope, ensuring comfort, safety and privacy; explains procedures to patients.
