Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients. This role supports trauma and oncology patients in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT credentials, Ohio licensure, and BLS, with the ability to work nights,coordinate with care teams, and educate patients about procedures. A competitive sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication while working under stress.
