Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Tech to join the Radiology Department. You will perform CT imaging and assist with CT-guided procedures while coordinating inpatient and outpatient scheduling.

You will educate patients about procedures and maintain patient safety and comfort under the CT team’s supervision. Required qualifications include ARRT registration with CT credential within one year, an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT and CT credential within 1 year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams.
• Maintain safety and quality standards under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with CT team, nurses and physicians.
