NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a CT Technologist for the Night shift to perform CT and radiographic procedures with accuracy and safety. You will interpret physician orders, prepare and operate CT equipment, and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include protocol compliance, patient care and safety, documentation in HIS/RIS, and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of accredited technical program.
• Radiologic Technologist (Temporary) Permit required at time of hire.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (X-Ray) required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsabilités

• Imaging Procedures & Protocol Compliance: Follows accepted radiologic practices and adheres to requisition instructions.
• Patient Care & Safety: Assesses patient history and explains procedures to patients.
• Information Systems & Documentation: Proficient with HIS/RIS, verifies orders, and documents details.
• Equipment Operation & Quality Control: Operates CT equipment, performs QC checks, and reports malfunctions.
