Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiography procedures under supervision. The role requires independent judgment, adherence to radiation protection standards, and accurate documentation of exams.

You will support the clinical team and ensure high-quality patient care across age groups. The position emphasizes safe imaging practices, accurate parameter selection, and collaboration with radiology leadership to maintain department

Qualifications

• Required: Fluoroscopy, ER, portable radiography, minor invasive procedures, some OR experience.
• Preferred: CT procedures in a medical center setting.
• Required CRT and BLS certifications for Healthcare Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, clean working environment and adheres to infection control requirements.
• Greets patients and provides procedure education to patients and/or family.
• Transports patient to examination room and assists to the examination table.
• Operates CT scanners with correct scan parameters and adheres to ALARA principles.
• Records and documents exam details in the department system; ensures accurate image capture and billing.
