Qualifications

Responsibilities

They are key members of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures according to department guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining cleanliness, verifying patient information, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. They administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, review images, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems. Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and supporting department operations are also essential duties.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications required include ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
